Qualifications: 

Interested candidates should possess a BS Degree (MS preferred) in geology or hydrogeology with the ability to demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement or professional experience in quantitative hydrogeology, contaminant hydrogeology, geochemistry, and/or vapor intrusion processes.  Familiarity with real-time field data collection techniques, ArcGIS, databases, and various air/water modeling skills are beneficial.  Excellent verbal communication, analytical, and technical writing skills are essential.  A strong attention to detail is required.

A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.

Our Concord, NH office is seeking a hydrogeologist or geologist with 0 to 3 years experience.

Examples of the position responsibilities include:

  • Perform environmental investigations at sites with soil, groundwater, and soil vapor contamination;
  • Perform, interpret, and analyze hydrogeologic tests, such as pumping tests or slug tests;
  • Collect, interpret and analyze various types of field data;
  • Assess contaminant fate and transport, develop conceptual site models and evaluate risks;
  • Perform environmental due diligence assessments;
  • Assist project managers in developing recommendations for environmental strategies, remedial alternatives and remediation designs; and
  • Prepare technical reports and other deliverables.
