Carnegie Mellon University, BS, Mechanical Engineering

Why did you join Sanborn Head?
To work with talented and dynamic colleagues, and do so in great locations.

What do you like best about Sanborn Head?
The willingness of my colleagues to help – instantaneously – on matters big and small.  Teamwork is often talked about, but it’s encouraged and practiced at Sanborn Head.

What inspires you most about your chosen profession and/or working at Sanborn Head?
We have through our collective efforts made tangible improvements in environmental quality – water, soil, and air are much cleaner now than they were in my youth.  Hopefully we can share that success with others worldwide and work to address the larger issues of climate change and sustainability.

Community Involvement
I teach courses in air pollution at Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.   I welcome the opportunity to share my perspectives with the next generation of environmental professionals, and probably learn as much from them as they do from me!

Fun Facts About Me
I grew up in western Pennsylvania and will forever be a Steelers fan.  I also love craft beers and am an occasional home brewer.
