Sanborn Head assisted our US-based industrial client with the closure of a 60-acre World War II vintage heavy industrial property in the UK Midlands.  The project involved an initial Phase I site review followed by extensive subsurface investigation, detailed risk assessment, and design of a groundwater extraction and treatment system.  Sanborn Head served as the primary contact for interactions with the Local Authority and the Environment Agency, leading navigation through the complex and evolving English environmental regulatory system.  We assisted our client and their team of planners, legal professionals, and other experts, with development of strategies for marketing the site for sale and developing a new master plan for redevelopment, and also in development of buyer negotiation strategies.  Our client successfully obtained planning consent for redevelopment and completed the -multi- million dollar sale.
