Sanborn Head provided air permitting support services for our client’s New Hampshire-based investment casting and finishing facilities.  For each facility, Sanborn Head demonstrated emissions below major source thresholds, which significantly reduced the facility’s recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

We developed site-specific emission factors, completed facility-wide regulated toxic air pollutant (RTAP) and hazardous air pollutant (HAP) evaluations, and performed refined air quality dispersion modeling to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulatory thresholds.

In addition, Sanborn Head provided engineering support for the installation of a zeolite concentrator and catalytic oxidizer to reduce facility volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, resulting in synthetic minor source permitting status.  We continue to provide pollution control device performance monitoring and engineering support services related to the assessment of the regulatory changes and potential impacts of evolving operating practices.
