SCS Energy of Long Beach, California is a provider of consulting, engineering, construction and operations/maintenance services for renewable energy and cogeneration projects.

Sanborn Head provided site civil engineering services to obtain local approval for the landfill gas processing facility constructed for the EcoLine Landfill Gas-to-Energy project. We later worked with the developer to prepare construction plans and specifications for site work. The EcoLine project, an innovative collaboration between Waste Management of New Hampshire, Inc.’s Turnkey Recycling and Environmental Enterprise Facility in Rochester, New Hampshire and the nearby University of New Hampshire (UNH) in Durham, NH, resulted in the beneficial use of the landfill gas to generate electricity and heat buildings on the five-million square foot UNH campus.
