As the leader of Sanborn Head’s Project Performance Center of Excellence, Kent leverages his expertise as an environmental engineer to drive efficiencies in Sanborn Head’s project management delivery.

Kent specializes in hydrogeologic studies, stormwater management, and groundwater modeling to support project design and construction. He is also knowledgeable on the regulatory and reporting requirements under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) and the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations. Kent has a degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in environmental and water quality engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kent also serves as the leader of the Project Performance Center of Excellence. This internal group works closely with our project teams to resolve challenges, implement best practices, and integrate new technologies to enhance team performance.
Kent’s favorite part of his job is the variety of projects he gets to work on. He enjoys the fast pace of development projects and the satisfaction of helping clients address environmental issues so their property can be put to productive use.
On the weekends you can find Kent spending time with his family exploring the outdoors and cheering on the Boston Bruins. Kent is also an avid distance runner, he ran the Boston Marathon in 2019 in support of Lovin’ Spoonfuls, a nonprofit food rescue organization.
Kent is a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts.
