Harrison’s technical focus areas include contaminants of emerging concern, environmental chemistry, and statistics for environmental applications. Harrison has an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Harrison loves his job because of the strong team and client relationships and because he loves problem-solving. He takes pride in the fact that his teams make a positive difference for their clients by working smart and by working hard.
Beyond spending quality time with friends and family, Harrison’s passions outside of work are an extension of his professional life. He volunteers for nonprofit international development teams such as Engineers Without Borders and the University of Rhode Island’s Clean Water Caribbean team, where he acts as the construction lead and a travel-team member. Harrison wants to contribute to the positive global impact that engineers and scientists have – which he believes is vital for reaching the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
