Brian is the leader of the Solid Waste market group, and he brings extensive experience in solid waste, civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering to the team.

Brian’s focus is on the design, permitting, and construction quality assurance for landfills, although he has led several initiatives to expand services to include solar and Brownfields redevelopment projects.
In addition to his role leading staff, business practices, and client services for the Solid Waste group, Brian is also a member of Sanborn Head’s Retirement Plan Committee. Brian will tell you that his favorite part of working at Sanborn Head is having a team that works together to provide clients with great service that helps them achieve their goals. As an engineer, he feels there is nothing more rewarding than creating a satisfying experience for the client and seeing a project that he helped design being built.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering. He is on the Board of Directors for the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of VT and is active in other environmental and renewable energy organizations in Vermont.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family participating in activities that include boating, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, skiing, and snowshoeing.
