Matt leads Sanborn Head’s business operations and oversees the company’s technical business practices.

Matt is responsible for making sure we deliver on our promises to clients, which include providing responsive service and technical excellence – to achieve their desired results while having a great experience along the way. Matt promotes a collaborative culture that encourages the sharing of ideas and resources across disciplines and geographies for the benefit our clients and our staff.
Matt also contributes his technical skill and experience to the Solid Waste group as a senior practitioner. Matt’s practice has focused on design, permitting, and construction-phase services on numerous landfill capping and liner system projects. Matt has a degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Matt’s favorite part of his role is getting to interact with his colleagues in and outside of Sanborn Head. His likes that his role allows him to advocate for the profession of consulting engineers and scientists and allows him to be hands-on and solve both technical and business-related problems with the team.
Matt is very active in the professional community. He sits on the boards of ACEC-New Hampshire and the Geoprofessional Business Association.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and his four adult children. On a nice day, you can find Matt playing a round of golf or spending time outdoors in the sun.
Matt is a Professional Engineer in Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont.
