Steve’s work spans landfill design, environmental assessments, closures, transfer station and materials recovery facility design, and solid waste management planning. He is skilled at managing multi-disciplinary projects from the concept planning and feasibility phase, through design, bidding, and construction. Steve obtained his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst; he continued his studies at Northeastern University where he earned a master’s degree in civil engineering.
For Steve, the best part of working at Sanborn Head is helping clients navigate complex environmental issues and seeking creative solutions to project obstacles. In addition to achieving successful outcomes for the client, Steve also appreciates that this work helps advance our technical skills and build great relationships with the project team and the client.
Steve is an active member of the Environmental Business Council’s Solid Waste Management Committee.
When he’s not thinking about improving the environment, Steve is exploring the arts as a self-proclaimed art history and history buff. He enjoys exercising, which comes in handy for his frequent home improvement projects and hanging heavy pieces of artwork.
Steve is a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
