Tim Petit, PE

Tim’s primary focus at Sanborn Head is on the design, permitting, and construction management of solid waste facilities and solar arrays.

Tim applies his experience in civil and geotechnical engineering to manage a wide variety of work, including permit applications, construction bid documents, construction quality assurance, and reporting on behalf of our solid waste clients. Tim is also the Operations Manager for the company’s Burlington office where he works to promotes a safe, productive, and fun environment for our Vermont-based employees. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Norwich University.

Tim’s favorite part of coming to work every day is getting to work with a great group of people. He likes being part of a team that is both personable and professional, and he likes the process of collaborating to achieve successful project outcomes for our clients.

When he’s not working, Tim spends his time sailing, traveling, and watching movies. In the colder months, he is also an avid hockey fan.

Tim is a Professional Engineer in Vermont.
