Tim’s project experience at Sanborn Head is focused on hydrogeologic and environmental investigations of commercial and industrial facilities where releases of contaminants have occurred.

Tim has also managed Brownfields due diligence activities and hydrogeologic characterization at Superfund sites. He has applied his skills analyzing groundwater flow and soil conditions to perform hydrogeologic studies of solid waste disposal sites and for groundwater resource development projects. Tim supervises staff in our Industrial group and is committed to staff mentoring and development. He has an undergraduate degree in geology from St. Lawrence University, and has also earned a master’s degree in hydrogeology from Washington State University.
Tim will tell you that the best part about his job is working with co-workers to provide high-quality, technical service to clients. He enjoys the process of putting the pieces together to develop an understanding of a site and providing practical and useful information to our clients.
When he’s not at work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth sports. On the weekends he can often be found outdoors cross-country skiing, hiking, or canoeing.
