A team of Sanborn Head staff shared a “day in the life” of an engineer and scientist to 19, ninth grade students at the Bow High School on February 20.
In honor of National Engineers Week (February 17 – 23), Eric Steinhauser, Sarah Pope, Eddie Galvin, Lilly Corenthal and Sean Murphy visited the Introduction to Engineering Design class and conducted a presentation featuring engineering and environmental science and how they collaborate across disciplines to address environmental challenges. The presentation focused on the importance of a technical education, math, science and technology literacy for the purpose of motivating youth to learn about engineering and technology.
