Sanborn Head provided engineering and geotechnical services for the development of a 2.2 megawatt (MW) DC solar photovoltaic (PV) array field on approximately 12.2 acres adjacent to the New England Waste Services of Vermont, Inc. (NEWSVT) landfill in Coventry, Vermont.

As part of our geotechnical assessment services, Sanborn Head conducted a subsurface investigation and prepared a geotechnical engineering report for the design of the PV array foundations. Sanborn Head also prepared the civil design and permit applications for the project, including assisting with the system layout, access roads, grading, stormwater drainage and other non-electrical and non-structural design components.
